Community Events
Friends of Leadbeaters’s Possum (FLBP) are working hard to raise the profile of our victorian faunal emblem. The group regularly attend a range of community events in addition to volunteer fieldwork where there is an opportunity to increase public awareness and/or raise revenue for the ongoing operating costs of FLBP projects (all members provide their time on a volunteer basis).

1. SUSTAINABLE LIVING FESTIVAL. Federation Square and Birrarung Marr. Friday – Sunday 18 – 20th February 2011.
Friends of Leadbeater’s Possum volunteers will be out spreading the word about Victoria’s endangered faunal emblem to the busy crowds in Melbourne at this major sustainability event.
 2. Bunnings BBQ fundraiser at Chirnside Park – Saturday 8th October 2011.
Put this date in your diary. We are hoping to have a small team of volunteers who can help man the table and deliver sausages to the public for the day.
