A fascinating illustrated presentation on the story of the Critically endangered Leadbeater’s Possum, Victoria’s marsupial emblem. The talk will discuss threats to the possum’s survival and the need for the Great Forest National Park that will secure its habitat, which it shares with many other species. The park will also help protect water supplies and carbon storage. http://www.slf.org.au/event/possum-and-the-park/
