Meetings & events
Group meetings are open to all members and escorted friends and family. They are an opportunity to be updated on the latest events affecting Leadbeater’s Possum and an opportunity to meet and chat with other members. Light refreshments are served.

Sunday 1st January 2012 – Bunnings BBQ Fundraiser
Join us for a few hours at the Chirnside Park Bunnings to sell some sausages!В This is a surprisingly fun day and a great way to meet other members.

The Friends of Leadbeater’s Possum are all volunteers. As a group we do a lot of on ground fieldwork getting out to help out the possums. We also spend a lot of time teaching/informing people about the possum (at schools or community events). Any efforts that can be made from other states to help raise funds would be greatly appreciated to run on ground projects to help save Leadbeater’s Possum from extinction. You could initially raise funds to adopt a nestbox or simply donate direct through our donations tab – any efforts would be greatly appreciated!
