Membership
Joining as a member is a great way to support our group! The more members we have the more weight we have when lobbying for the survival of Leadbeater’s Possum.
We have two main categories of membership. All members receive regular email updates and invitations to meetings & events, and can be elected onto our committee.
‘Field Volunteers’ assist in the field with our numerous projects working with LBP habitat.
Being a Field Volunteer means you are covered by our group liability insurance and personal accident insurance to protect you while working in the field. You are also elidgible for our training programs to help give you the skills to help LBPs in the field.
Field Volunteer membership is $5 per year more than regular membership. This can be added when you join or renew, or you can pay the additional $5 (per person) for your first field event and upgrade your membership to a Field Volunteer and be covered for the whole year.
Memberships:
Concession (unemployed/pension) $5
Individual $10
Family (all information sent to one email address) $15
Group or Institution (all information sent to one contact person) $25
Concession Field Volunteer $10
Individual Field Volunteer $15
Family Field Volunteers $15 plus $5 per person helping in the field.
Group or Institution Field Volunteers $25 plus $5 per person helping in the field.
*Please note it is very important that we keep our Field Volunteer list up to date to ensure we are all adequately covered by our insurance while working in the field. If you would like to particiapte in a field event and you need to upgrade your membership to Field Volunteer please do so at least one week before the event.
